Why don't most people reflect and learn shit?
Last year it was miami and how outrageous it was that the players went on 'holiday'. Then they came back and kept us up and it all went strangely quiet.
Just shut it without football manager bullshit, and let the man with shit loads of experience get on with how he feels he should do the job.

I couldn't give a fuck where he goes for a few days. The players are off, so what's he going to do at the training ground? Arrange the cones differently?
The question is whether giving the players time off is right - and if it is, then he's welcome to go back to Chile. Who is left, anyway?

He shouldn’t be going anywhere other than the training ground along with any player not on international duty. They play like a bunch of strangers and need as much time together as possible.
Also, I don’t think a younger, hungrier manager would be doing this. You’d hope they’d be working 14 hour days to sort it out. A trip to South America is the sign of a mean who’s taking it easy.
